Raced all distances of triathlons throughout the past 10 years. I started doing sprint triathlons for fun and enjoyed training all three disciplines. I had to work hard to learn a lot about biking in my early years. My first half Ironman was in Muncie, IN and it was a challenge, but I was glad I did it! After my collegiate swimming career, I still had a competitive bug. I signed up for an Ironman with a friend to help each other in the journey. It started my more "serious" racing in triathlons. It led me to get second in the Louisville Ironman and qualified for the World Championships in Kona, HI. I went into strict training and enjoyed the journey to Hawaii! The race was incredibly challenging, but amazing at the same time! I want to help others reach their goals whether big or small because swimming, biking, and running have taught me many life lessons and made me a better person!
